The Emergency Exit will have two door leaves that will both be outward opening, and in the standard configuration will be hinged on the left hand side as viewed from the outside. The standard configuration shop front will accommodate the Emergency Exit Door

Panic Function

The Emergency Exit Door main leaf and split panel leaf will both have an inside panic release bar extending across the door or a certified exit lever for the split door panel. When depressed, the release bar retracts the latch bolt, permitting both door leaves to open outward. The panic release bar will be of an approved type for emergency exit route doors, and a certificate of compliance will accompany the Emergency Exit Door.

Frame & Door Size/Type

The standard opening width of the frame is 1500mm wide by 2220mm high (ffl). The door has a mid-rail and is hinged using a specialised pivot hinge. The top of the pivot hinge is contained in a secure steel enclosure, which is tamper proof. The secure steel enclosure also contains signal and power cable terminations.

With the door open at maximum 95 degrees, the passing width is 1500mm.

Planning, Delivery & Installations

Our customers first select the correct options for their application. To this end ID Control will arrange a site visit and then agree on an installation schedule.

The installation will be planned for the most cost efficient delivery and installation process with the least possible disruption to the customers operations. The installation is carried out by certified installers and a handover of documentation and operator training is given. 

Service & Support

The product carries a 12 month warranty for components and installation. A routine maintenance service plan will be offered to the client ID Control have a national network of certified service technicians covering Southern Africa.
